Management Team

    Nicholas Zoch

    Managing Director

    Nicholas has been a key part of Progression Group since 1988 and became a Partner in 1994. With a Bachelor of Business (Accounting with Distinction), CPA qualification and a Master of Taxation from the University of New South Wales, he brings deep technical expertise and decades of experience to supporting clients across complex taxation matters.

    A significant focus of Nicholas’s work is providing Board Advisory Services to business clients. He enjoys working closely with owners and leadership teams to strengthen governance, improve decision-making and provide practical commercial guidance that supports sustainable growth. This hands-on advisory role is an area he finds particularly rewarding, especially when helping technically skilled business operators build stronger, more structured organisations. 

    Outside the office, Nicholas, a proud father of two beautiful adult daughters, enjoys time fishing locally and each year heads to the Northern Territory to chase barramundi — a tradition he looks forward to, reflecting his persistence and appreciation for time outdoors.

    Tim Johnson

    Operations Manager

    Tim joined Progression Group in February 2015 as Operations Manager. He transitioned to accounting after a 20-year career in banking and brings deep commercial insight and extensive experience serving a diverse range of clients.

    At the firm Tim manages day-to-day practice operations while maintaining an active portfolio of clients. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and is a Certified Practising Accountant.

    Outside of work Tim enjoys golf, spending time with his grown children, and following the West Coast Eagles.

    Aaron Burge

    Senior Accountant

    Aaron joined Progression Group in September 2021, bringing with him over nine years of accountancy experience. During this time, he has worked across several small accounting firms, gaining broad exposure to a wide range of client industries, software platforms, and business processes.

    Aaron is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce. He specialises in tax services for small businesses, including larger group structures, and provides practical, tailored business advice to support clients’ ongoing growth and compliance.

    Outside of work, Aaron enjoys following AFL football, reading, and spending quality time with his kids and family.

    Carmen Cardamone

    Client Services Officer

    Carmen has been with Progression since 2022.  She brings valuable administration experience across our Business Services. She plays a key role in supporting the team and helping ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.  Carmen gains genuine satisfaction from assisting clients and contributing to a positive workplace.

    Outside of work, she enjoys cooking for family and friends and occasionally bringing homemade treats to share with colleagues.

    Helena Eddy

    Bookkeeper

    Helena Eddy has been part of Progression Group, since starting in May 2022.  She brings over 30 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial management. With extensive knowledge in payroll, debt collection and credit control, Helena is known for her highly organised approach, keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

    She is passionate about helping small businesses stay in control of their finances and takes pride in making sure clients always know exactly where they stand with accurate, up-to-date books.

    Helena holds a Diploma of Accounting and a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, listening to podcasts and music, continuing her self-education, and cheering on her beloved Blues.

    Jesse Clencie

    SMSF Team Leader

    Jesse Clencie has been working in the SMSF sector since 2002, with a strong background in managing self-managed superannuation funds from setup through to compliance and reporting. He has developed deep expertise in SMSF administration, including financial statement preparation, tax return lodgements, and ensuring adherence to ATO regulations.

    With a detail-oriented and client-focused approach, Jesse works closely with trustees, financial planners, and auditors to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant outcomes. His experience spans a diverse range of SMSF portfolios, giving him the ability to navigate complex fund structures and evolving legislative requirements with confidence.

    Jesse is committed to maintaining high professional standards while helping clients understand and effectively manage their superannuation responsibilities.

     Outside of work, Jesse values time with his family and maintains a strong work–life balance. He’s also a passionate AFL fan, enjoying the game both as a spectator and to unwind and stay connected with the community.

  • Kristiana Gjorgieve

    Client Services Officer

    One of the newest members of the Progression Group team, Kristiana—also known as Kiki—is your first point of contact. She takes pride in being the bridge between clients and the solutions they need, ensuring every interaction is handled with care and professionalism.

    Kiki’s day-to-day role includes managing incoming calls, connecting clients with the right team members, and supporting the processing of administrative tax matters while maintaining a high standard of quality.

     A proactive and approachable receptionist, Kiki is dedicated to making sure every client feels heard, supported, and confident in the service they receive. With a diverse background beyond business services, she also brings a creative flair to the team, adding fresh perspective and energy to the client experience.

    Marley Short

    Client Services Officer

    With over a decade of dedicated service to our firm, Marley is a valued and trusted member of our Client Services team. Since joining us in 2013, she has built extensive experience supporting both clients and colleagues and is known for consistently going above and beyond to ensure every interaction is handled with care, efficiency, and professionalism.

    Marley plays a key role in helping clients feel supported and confident in their dealings with our practice. Her deep knowledge of our systems, processes, and client needs makes her an essential part of our day-to-day operations and a familiar, friendly point of contact for many long-standing clients.

    Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

    Nicholas Biscontin

    Senior Accountant

    Nick is a qualified Chartered Accountant who joined Progression Group in 2021. He brings extensive experience in tax and business advisory, supporting clients across a range of industries.

    Nick is known for his strong analytical approach, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving skills.  He works closely with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), helping them navigate complex tax and compliance matters with confidence. 

    Outside of work, he is a Richmond Tigers’ tragic, loves cricket, going to live music gigs, and spending quality time with his young family.

    Olivera Zdravevska

    Senior Accountant

    Olivera joined Progression Group in 2019 and is an experienced accountant specialising in tax and business services for small to medium-sized businesses. As a qualified CA, Olivera is committed to delivering practical, reliable financial solutions that help clients grow with confidence, and enjoys supporting them through both their accounting needs and the complex tax issues that arise within their businesses.

    Olivera also provides tax planning and business structuring advice, along with tailored solutions designed to improve productivity and efficiency through the effective use of technology and software.

    Outside the office, Olivera enjoys spending time with family and friends, dining out at great restaurants, and attending music concerts.

    Peta Williams

    Senior Accountant

    Peta has been part of the Progression team since 2018 and is a qualified CPA with a strong background in bookkeeping and running her own business. With plenty of hands-on experience, she understands the day-to-day realities of managing a small business and the challenges that can come with it.

    She enjoys working closely with business owners and families, helping them understand their numbers, stay on top of their bookkeeping and make informed decisions about managing or growing their business. Having been in their shoes herself, she knows just how valuable clear financial information and practical support can be.

    As a mum of four, Peta knows how busy life can be when you’re juggling business and family. Outside of work, she’s usually busy getting the kids to their sporting activities and loves getting involved by coaching netball. When things slow down, her favourite place to be is up at the river with her family, enjoying some time out on the water.

    Peter Stumpers

    Senior Accountant

    Pete has been working at Progression since 2020 and has 15+ years of experience after working in both the commerce and Tax/Business Advisory industries. Pete is a qualified CPA and originally from Western Australia but now calls Victoria home (even though his AFL allegiance does not).

    In his free time, Pete enjoys going on holidays with his family and going to the gym.

    Rodney Leeson

    Senior Accountant

    Rodney joined Progression in 2015, bringing with him over a decade of experience advising small and medium-sized business owners across tax, management, regulatory, and reporting matters. Now with more than 20 years in the profession, he is a Chartered Accountant with deep expertise in property development, large-scale commercial transactions, construction, and strategic advisory engagements.

    Rodney has a strong interest in information security and the application of technology to improve business efficiency and outcomes, and he is particularly focused on helping clients navigate increasingly complex digital and regulatory environments.

     Outside of work, Rodney enjoys spending time with family and friends, often over a quiet whiskey, and can regularly be found at trivia nights or enjoying board games and video games.

    Sally Lloyd

    SMSF Accountant

    Sally has been part of the Progression Group since 2002 and brings extensive experience within the superannuation field.  As a Superannuation Accountant, she has developed strong practical knowledge through many years of hands-on experience working with Self Managed Superannuation Funds.  

    Sally holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration.  While her academic background initially pointed toward a different career path, she discovered a passion for the superannuation sector where she has built a long and rewarding career within the field. She is passionate about helping people understand their superannuation and assisting those who may find online systems or financial processes challenging.

    Sally prides herself on being approachable and providing clear, practical support to help people feel confident managing their Self Managed Superannuation Fund.  Outside of work Sally enjoys travelling and exploring new places.

    Sean Kirby

    Senior Accountant

    Sean commenced at Progression Group in July 2020 and brings more than a decade of experience in the accounting industry. A qualified CPA, he has developed strong expertise in tax and tax planning, with a particular focus on helping small business clients navigate complex financial and regulatory matters.

    Sean is passionate about problem-solving and delivering practical, tailored advice that helps clients achieve efficient and effective outcomes for their businesses.

    Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching the footy and staying active at the gym.

    Sue Wines

    Senior Accountant

    Since becoming an accountant in 1992, getting to understand and help businesses remains the highlight for Sue Wines.  Sue became a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and worked for a large accounting firm in the city.  When her family grew, Sue chose to work in a local tax accounting firm with strong links to the community. In this role her expertise diversified from Private Business to include Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, thus giving her the ability to assist clients across their full entity structures.

    At Progression Group, Sue works with businesses across a range of industries, helping clients to build more profitable and resilient operations, while ensuring adherence with all regulatory requirements.

    Sue enjoys time with friends, playing tennis and an active church life.

    Thierry Rousselin

    Senior Accountant / Team Leader

    Thierry has been working at Progression Group since 2004 and has extensive experience in the tax and accounting industry. He looks forward to helping clients navigate through complex tax and business issues. More than two decades of experience in professional services underpin the value that Thierry can bring to clients. 

    Throughout his career, Thierry has worked closely with clients in various industries including multinational companies, transport and logistics, retailers and sole traders. He is an effective communicator and is experienced in liaising with Government bodies and different stakeholders on behalf of clients. 

    Weekends are typically spent coaching basketball and spending time with his family. In his spare time, he also enjoys being outdoors and going for scenic walks.
