Capital Gains Tax Minimisation

Capital Gains Tax (CGT) is often a sleeping giant that many investors fail to account for when disposing of assets.

Since September 1999, a number of Small Business Capital Gains Tax Concessions have been introduced to minimise and in certain circumstances remove any CGT liability.

If you can satisfy the net asset test (under $6m in assets) and are considering disposing of your business at a profit, then you need to ensure you are correctly positioned to access the Small Business Concessions.

These initiatives are complex and dynamic. Progression Group not only have in-house CPA Accredited Tax Specialists but also work closely with experienced Tax Lawyers in ensuring our practical knowledge is always current.

The savings in this area can be astronomical. Since the introduction of the concessions, Progression Group have assisted many clients in disposing of their business tax free.
